Tell us your story? How and where did you meet?

We were introduced to each other by a common friend in Church Kingdom Seekers Nakuru

 What do you love the most about each other?
What stood out was our passion for Serving God and loving God. We could talk for hours and enjoy each other company and hardly a day went by without talking.

We love sharing our lives experience, challenges and future ambitions and dreams. We share so many things in common.

 How did he propose?
She had traveled outside the country before I could let her know how I felt about her. So we kept in touch via phone and after a few months I had to propose to her on Phone since I didn’t want to take any chance of losing her while waiting for her to come back or for me to join her in the diaspora.

What songs did you and your bridal team walk down the aisle to?

 What was your wedding theme and what inspired your choice of colors, suppliers and style?
Our wedding colours were blue red and white. I had seen it in the dream many years ago. My friend who has been going to Turkey did me a huge favor I told him about our wedding and he offered to buy the suits at once for all my groomsmen without the deposit

…because it was a rare design and running out of stock at that time. And besides, he didn’t have plans to go back to Turkey again that year. Red is my favorite color and it matched well with parliament blue.

Give a brief recount of the wedding day, from waking up till evening and the things that were going through your mind at the time.
Well personally I (Groom) woke early to pray at 5 am in the morning thinking this is it! No turning back. And my heart was full of joy. I felt relaxed and knew all was well.

 We had a prolonged service but we kept cool. We were shocked by the turnout; it was so huge! It was such a great day but I kept  thinking;

I hope it does not rain ...during the reception it was a bit cloudy. But we had fun and enjoyed every moment after we said ‘I do’.

Bride: I woke up and declared that this is the day that the Lord has made, I shall rejoice and be glad in it! I had no butterflies. God gave me peace and joy I hoped all would go well and indeed everything went well. We thank God.

Tell us your biggest cost saver and any cost saving tips you have for people planning their wedding.

The biggest cost saver was God; he made sure that all our past relationships with great friends came in handy .Most of the things we needed we got half price and what stood out is flower supplies .A director of a farm that does flower export only, gave us flowers worth 100k  for free . And for the reception grounds the owner of the hotel gave us a discount of 80% of required fee.

All these people are our old friends, whom we had relationship for years. We didn’t hire a single car; they were all provided by friends and family .All was God working on our behalf.
